MacWet ambassador Gary Wolstenholme to compete in Senior Open Championship

27 july 2012

After the drama of the Open Championship at Royal Lytham and St Annes at the weekend, it's time for the leading lights in Senior Golf to take centre stage for their third major of the game, the Senior Open Championship in Turnberry, Ayrshire.

MacWet ambassador Gary Wolstenholme MBE goes into the event as one of the favourites to secure his maiden major victory, having started the season in sublime fashion by winning two events so far.

In the wet and unpredictable conditions we have all been experiencing recently, Gary has credited MacWet with helping him to cope with the conditions and get the most from his game, no matter what the weather throws at him.

"In wet conditions, it's more important than ever to have a secure and reliable grip on the club. But it's not only when it's rainy. This is equally important in humid or balmy conditions. I have never found more reliable or high performing gloves than MacWet. They really are "all grip, no slip!" – Gary Wolstenholme MBE

Everyone at MacWet wishes Gary all the best for the Senior Open Championship.
