Ben Maher Excels at European Championships

3rd September 2013

August's European Equestrian Championships in Herning Denmark proved to be another successful competition for one of Britain's most exciting show jumpers. Ben Maher has enjoyed a sting of fantastic results throughout the 2013 season and he has frequently recorded 1st, 2nd and 3rd rankings all over the world.

The most recent outing for the equestrian champion proved equally successful and he would have taken the 1st place position had it not been for an unfortunate 11th hour pole dislodgement.

Riding Cella, Ben completed the first rounds with his characteristic flair, perhaps riding a little faster than he intended on his walk through, nevertheless achieving great results.

He was joined on the podium by Roger Yves Bost, riding for France and fellow GB team mate Scott Brash who took bronze.

Everyone at MacWet wishes Ben the very best with his upcoming competitions and we know that his MacWet gloves will help him keep his grip on championship top spots!
