Winning polo players wear MacWets

The Cartier Queens Cup (Season 2026)

This year’s Cartier Queen’s Cup at Guards Polo Club saw several world-leading players wearing MacWet gloves.

In the first semi-final on 10 June, both Adolfo Poroto (La Dolfina/Marques de Riscal) and Mark Tomlinson (Aureus) wore MacWets in a fast, flowing match which went to 10:10 before Aureus triumphed in extra time.

The second semi-final was just as tight, with Balanz Capital scoring a penalty in extra time to take the win over Dubai Polo Team.

The final on 14 June saw Balanz Capital prevail and take the Queens Cup with a 17-7 victory over Aureus. The flair, speed and skill of all players on the field made for a great tournament, with spectators enjoying both the action and the sunshine in spectacular surroundings.

Team MacWet thoroughly enjoyed both days and seeing such talented sports stars choosing to wear MacWet gloves, where precision, grip and feel are so key to winning performances.
